Valentino,
or "Rudy" as we call him, is our April '99 gelding, sired
by the legendary multi-world and four-time Grand National Fino Champion,
Capuchino. His mother, our Grand Dam, is from equally famous blood
with her sire also being Resorte Cuarto and her grandfather on the
dam's side: the two time PFHA Grand National Fino Champion, Frio Viento.
Rudy is a beautiful dark chestnut gelding like his father, with great conformation, straight legs with no cross over or sickle hocks, natural head carriage, and movement. He also has four white hooves with a very small white star on his forehead. His movement is very quick and balanced, with big rolling hocks. |
| Rudy
began his training under saddle 1 October, 2001, with the expert guidance
of our stallion trainer, Cary Hardiman. As a young 3-year-old gelding,
Rudy was Cary's preferred horse for demonstrating difficult guidance
drills and flexibility movements during his resistance free training
clinics. After six months with Cary, his amateur owner took over his
training and showed him at the 2002 Nationals. Rudy is a dream to ride, loves the trail, and has undoubtedly the best training under saddle of any horse that we have ever seen. Where else can you find a gelding this well bred, raised, and trained for $6,250.00. Please feel free to call us about any questions you may have concerning Rudy. Don't forget, Rudy has Resorte IV as his grandfather on top and bottom. This kind of blood is almost impossible to duplicate. He was bred to be really good, and he is. |
